Please be aware that our team is most often available during normal office hours from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Crisis Support for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people

13YARN is the first national service of its kind for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people in crisis. They offer a confidential one-on-one over the phone yarning opportunity and support with a trained Lifeline Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Crisis Supporter for mob who are feeling overwhelmed or having difficulty coping.

Family Connect and Support

Family Connect and Support (FCS) is funded by the NSW Government and helps children, young people and families to connect with local support services. The Benevolent Society is the support service provider for the Hunter.

Accommodation Support

Link2home is the NSW statewide homelessness information and referral telephone service and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Domestic Violence Support

The NSW Domestic Violence Line offers free counselling and referral services and is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. MensLine Australia is the national telephone and online support, information and referral service for men with family and relationship concerns. If you are at risk or are concerned about another person, visit the NSW Domestic Violence website for information on how to get help and support.
