Background and Purpose

A Splash of Colour Swimming Inc. is an award-winning not-for-profit organisation that delivers culturally inclusive, trauma-informed learn-to-swim programs for adults from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.

Through community partnerships, multilingual support, and a deep commitment to cultural respect, we empower participants not only to survive in water—but to thrive. Our purpose is to save lives, foster belonging, and create generational change through inclusive access to swimming and water safety education.

A Splash of Colour Swimming adds a new dimension to the 437 Hunter Street community—offering culturally inclusive, trauma-informed support that addresses fear of water and barriers to swimming. Our presence adds a voice for CALD communities and creates new opportunities for connection, confidence-building, and life-saving education beyond the pool.
